Baselyne ("we", "our", or "the app") is a workout tracking app for iOS. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Baselyne collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data We Collect

Workout Data

Baselyne stores the workout data you create, including exercises, sets, reps, and weights; workout templates and programmes; workout session history and duration; and body weight entries.

This data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and synced across your devices using Apple iCloud (CloudKit). We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Sign in with Apple

If you choose to sign in, Baselyne receives the following from Apple: a unique user identifier, your name (if you choose to share it), and your email address (if you choose to share it).

This information is stored locally on your device and is used solely to display your profile within the app. It is not transmitted to any external server.

App Preferences

Baselyne stores your preferences locally on your device, including your chosen colour profile, weight unit (kg/lb), and rest timer settings.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect analytics or usage data. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not have access to any data stored in your iCloud account.

iCloud Sync

Baselyne uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your workout data across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot read, access, or retrieve your CloudKit data.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored either locally on your device or in your private iCloud account. We do not operate any external servers or databases. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security and your iCloud account credentials.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by deleting individual workouts, templates, or body weight entries within the app; signing out of your account in the app's Profile tab; deleting the app from your device; or removing Baselyne's data from iCloud via Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Children's Privacy

Baselyne is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
